Returns and Refunds
To inquire about a return, please contact the retailer directly. All returns are subject to the return policies of PayPlan by RBC’s retail partners.
When a retailer processes a return to your PayPlan by RBC loan order, a partial or full refund will be automatically applied to your loan. Your PayPlan by RBC account status and loan balance will be adjusted accordingly. It can take up to 5 business days to see the adjusted loan balance.
If a partial refund is issued to your PayPlan by RBC loan, your loan amount will be adjusted to reflect your new remaining balance. If a refund results in a credit balance on your loan account, the credit balance will be returned to you through the bank account used to make payments on your loan. This process can take up to 10 business days.

If your requested cancellation or return is not reflected on your account, please contact the retailer directly to check on the status of your request. If you are still are having difficulty after contacting the retailer, please contact our Member Support team. Depending on the retailer you purchased from, PayPlan by RBC may or may not be able to raise an order dispute on your behalf with the retailer after sufficient evidence is provided. Please note that if we open a dispute with the retailer, that dispute can take up to 30 days to reach a resolution and must be initiated within 45 days of your loan origination with a PayPlan by RBC instalment loan.

Please contact the retailer about your damaged merchandise. You are required to make payments on your PayPlan by RBC account until the balance is paid or credited in full. Any refunds for damaged goods will be applied as a credit to your account, reducing the amount you owe.
