About PayPlan by RBC
PayPlan by RBC applicants must be Canadian residents and over the age of 18 in; Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan or over the age of 19 in; British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Yukon Territory.
Also not all PayPlan by RBC loans are available in the province of Quebec.
Applicants must also have a valid mobile number and email address. PayPlan by RBC must be able to verify your identity.
PayPlan by RBC is a pay-over-time solution that helps you make purchases with equal monthly payments. When you check out with PayPlan by RBC, you agree to accept the terms of taking an installment loan from RBC.
Our goal is to make your purchases more manageable by helping you pay in a way that fits your budget. The PayPlan by RBC loan includes straightforward, easy-to-understand terms for fair, transparent lending.

1. If you experience a problem with your PayPlan by RBC loan you can contact the PayPlan Customer Relations Centre at 1-844-915-2211.
2. If PayPlan Customer Relations Centre is not able to resolve your problem, we encourage you to submit your concern securely and electronically via RBC’s “Make a Complaint” online submission tool at www.rbc.com/customercare. You can also contact the RBC Client Care Centre by phone at 1-800-769-2540 or by mail at Client Care Centre Royal Bank Plaza, PO Box 1 Toronto, ON M5J 2J5.
3. If RBC Client Care Centre is not able to resolve, you may contact the office of the RBC Ombudsman and submit your complaint electronically at www.rbc.com/customercare. You can also contact the office of the RBC Ombudsman by email at [email protected], by phone at 1-800-769-2542, by fax to 416-974-6922, or by mail at P.O. Box 1, Royal Bank Plaza, Toronto, Ontario M5J 2J5.
4. If you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with your concerns, please write to: Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (“FCAC”), 427 Laurier Avenue West, 6th Floor, Ottawa, Ontario K1R 1B9; or you may contact the FCAC through its website at www.fcac-acfc.gc.ca; or through its Consumer Contact Centre at 1-866-461-3222.
You will be given the option to apply for PayPlan by RBC in the checkout flow of any participating retailer and follow the prompts to pre-qualify, review and accept your terms, and complete checkout. Applying is quick and easy.
No. When you finance a purchase with PayPlan by RBC you are applying for an installment loan with equal monthly payments from RBC.
Pre-qualifying for a PayPlan by RBC loan only results in a soft inquiry and will not affect your credit score. Additionally, after your loan begins, PayPlan by RBC may report your monthly and final repayment status to credit reporting agencies, which may show up on your credit report and impact your score.
PayPlan by RBC does not currently report loan status to the credit bureaus but we reserve the right to do so in the future.
